Mandie Perdikakis
Director of Organizational Development
As the Director of Organizational Development, my role is to promote branding, marketing and learning & development efforts, as well as drive operational, sales and recruiting initiatives at GPA. This includes identifying new business opportunities and converting these opportunities to successful sales resulting in more satisfied clients, candidates and associates. I’m enthusiastic and grateful for this opportunity to promote the growth of our family business in partnership with the dedicated staff of GPA; alongside my siblings Lynn and George and my eldest nephew Gus C.; and with the leadership of my parents, Gus and Jo Ann.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating, I embarked on a 25-year career in the luxury market of the fashion business as a product leader directing the research, development and design efforts from concept through production. I worked for the contemporary brands Vince in LA and Elie Tahari, Ralph Lauren and White + Warren in NYC throughout my fashion career. After leaving the fashion business, I joined our family’s business in 2016.
I have been a volunteer with ASA, previously on the Engineering, IT and Scientific Council, and currently on the Direct Hire Council. In 2024, I led the Resources Working Group subcommittee in successfully publishing Mastering Direct Hire Staffing: Five Best Practices for Success. I am currently Vice-Chair of the Direct Hire Council and am leading the ASA Central Working Group. In 2024, I was also asked to join the Board of Advisors for the Goering Center.
The engagement of and the wellness of people is my present day professional and personal focus. I am Yoga Alliance certified in Vinyasa Krama yoga (the study of movement and sequence methodology). I currently teach a dance class at the Cincinnati Ballet focused on combining yoga, ballet and improvisational movement. My practice and teachings encompass the concept that the foundation provides extension, expansion and expression.
